Cleo Herbert Dees, 102, died Sunday Nov. 30, 2014 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

He was born Feb. 8, 1912 in Berrien County to the late James Benjamin Dees and the late Matilda Hancock Dees. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wives, Emma Tyson Dees and Millie Ann Corbitt Dees; two daughters: Melba Doris Dees Lee and Miriam Jeanette Dees Johnson; two sons: Jimmy Herbert Dees and Darrell Dewayne Dees.

He is survived by his daughter: Patricia Basler of St. Charles, Mo.; son: Johnny Dees of Nashville; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday,  Dec. 3, 2014 at 2 p.m.  in the Long Bridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Visitation will be held  Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014  from Noon until time of services. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.
