Sally Davis Williams, 83, of Valdosta passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 19, 1931 in Nichols, GA to the late Frank and Mattie Davis. She owned and operated Elite Beauty Salon for 20 years. She enjoyed being a beautician, but being a “Mama” was her greatest love. Caring for her children taught her many hobbies. She was an artist, fisherman, seamstress and was one of the best cooks in South Georgia.
Survivors Include: Her husband of 67 years, Thomas “Catfish” Williams, Valdosta, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Mary Williams, Lake Park, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Gelaine & Dewey Foster, Valdosta, GA, Sherri & Glenn Gregory, Valdosta, GA
5 Grandchildren: Jeff Williams (Jennifer), Brittney Hull (Corey), David Foster (Cindy), Chip Gregory (Cindy) and Lori Lambright (Ken); 10 Great Grandchildren: Drew Williams, Charlotte Hull, Emma & Emelia Gregory, Ginger & Carlton McTier, Wright & Sally-Glynn “Sassy” Lambright, Kylie & Addison Foster; Loving Niece, Karen Davis, Valdosta and Special Caregivers: Debbie and Nikki
A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Riverview Memorial Gardens. No formal visitation will be held.
