LMS’ six young ladies were nominated to participate in the event while at their National Cheer Association cheer camp during the summer.

In November the girls received their uniforms and a DVD of the routine they would have to learn for the parade taping.

After arriving on Dec. 4, the girls had several long, vigorous practices with the other 800 plus cheerleaders in attendance and the next day they practiced early the next morning before being able to enjoy the Disney parks later that afternoon.

The parade was taped on Dec. 6 after running through the routine several times on Main Street in front on the Cinderella Castle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

All of the girls’ hard work, determination and love of cheer paved their way for an experience the girls, coaches and parents who attended this event could only be described in one word, magical.

The 31st annual Disney Frozen Christmas Celebration Parade will be aired on ABC Christmas morning at 10 a.m.
