Both the LOPD and the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office were called out around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday to a location on the edge of Live Oak’s city limits. The disturbance arose after Shadrick Xavier Robinson, 20, 7033 119th Rd., Live Oak, allegedly stole some chickens. The chickens’ owner believed that his stolen livestock was being held inside a fenced area at the location. The victim’s face was pressed against the fence as he looked for his chickens when Robinson ran up and kicked the fence, according to the press release.

Robinson was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, farm theft, and violation of parole on count of attaching tag not assigned. The LOPD reports that some of the stolen chickens were recovered during the investigation.
