Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert Tucker of Hahira are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Caroline Tucker, of Atlanta, to Mr. Gordon Hubbard (Tripp) Davis III, of Peachtree Corners, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hubbard Davis, Jr. of Fort Payne, Alabama.
The wedding is planned for March 21, 2015 at Clairmont Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Georgia, with the reception to follow at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse in Decatur.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Reverend Dr. and Mrs. Damon C. Dodd of Colquitt, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie D. Tucker of Adel, Georgia. She is a 2006 graduate of Lowndes High School, and a 2010 graduate of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences of The University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising. She is employed by Brighton Collectibles as a visual merchandiser for Georgia and northern Alabama.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Sybil Sims White and the late Mr. John Tyler White, Sr. of Fort Payne, Alabama, and Mrs. Josephine Evans of Alton, Virginia. He is a 2005 graduate of Fort Payne High School, and a 2009 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction, majoring in Building Science. He is employed by the Choate Construction Group in Atlanta as an assistant project manager.
The couple will make their home in Peachtree Corners, Georgia following their marriage.
