Kevin and Kendra Butenschon of Hahira are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Brooke Butenschon, to Joseph Brent Strickland, son of Ben and Tina Strickland of Lakeland.

The bride-elect graduated from Lowndes High School in 2009. She received her bachelor’s of science degree in psychology from Valdosta State University in 2013. She is currently attending the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens.

Her grandparents are Frank and Susan Butenschon of Lake Park and Iva Lee Morgan and the late Kenneth Morgan of Anniston, Ala.

The future groom

 graduated from Lowndes High School in 2009. He

received his bachelor’s of

science in nursing from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville

in 2014. He is employed

by Emory Healthcare in

Atlanta as a registered

nurse.

His grandparents are Earl Boyett and the late Rhea Boyett, and the late Frank and Christine Strickland, all of Lakeland.

A winter wedding is being planned. Invitations will be mailed at a later date.
