Over 500 registered cyclists and volunteers converged on White Springs for IDIDARIDE XXI, making it the largest cycling event for the Suwannee Bicycle Association, which is headquartered in historic White Springs.

In spite of heavy rainfall leading up to the event, SBA members and participants from 500 miles away took the challenge and enjoyed over 50 miles of off-road trails in a test of endurance in a rural setting.

Hans Guerrero, IDIDARIDE XXI organizer, was enthusiastic about his first effort at coordinating an event for SBA.

“We had an outstanding turnout and outstanding support from the town of White Springs,” said Guerrero. “I am excited about the entire experience and want to thank the town for going the extra mile by commemorating the event with the SBA IDIDARIDE XXI pictorial postmark.”

The IDIDARIDE XXI pictorial postmark will be available for 30 days at the White Springs Post Office.

Established by the Florida Legislature in 1996 as the State’s official tourism marketing corporation, Visit Florida serves as the sole statewide destination marketing organization representing the entire Florida tourism industry. A grant from Visit Florida supports the White Springs Pictorial Postmark Promotion Program.
