Bobby F. Harvell

Bobby F. Harvell, 80, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House following a brief illness. He was born on Feb. 25, 1935 in Havana, Fla., to the late Green Berry and Lois Anders Harvell. Mr. Harvell was a veteran of the United States Air Force and later retired after 30 years of service from IBM as a customer engineer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to work in his garden and be outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Harvell was a member of Havana Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Yvonne Harvell of Valdosta; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Anita Harvell of Sackets Harbor, N.Y.; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Doug Whittle of Valdosta; grandchildren and their spouses, T.G. and Heather Chaney of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Toja and Cory Bellant of Valdosta and Candi and Matt
Monahan of Ligonier, Ind.; great-grandchildren, Cadence, Cason, and Cayla Bellant, Damon and Mileena Monahan, and Waylon Chaney; sister and brother-in-law, Miladean and Hilman Cook of Calvery, Ga.
