VALDOSTA— Charles Trippe Shell Jr. and Patricia Shell of Valdosta,  announce the engagement of their daughter, Becky Marie Shell of Valdosta to Jeffrey Christopher Hale, of Valdosta, son of Jeff and Lisa Hale of Valdosta.

The wedding is  planned to be held  at 3 p.m. Aug. 22, 2015 at Hahira United Methodist Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Charles Trippe Shell Sr. and the late Bettye Dickins Shell of Lenox, Ga.;, and Clara Ines de Arenas and the late Gabriel Arenas of Bogota, Colombia.  The bride-elect is  a 2010 Lowndes High graduate and 2014 Valdosta State University graduate, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She is employed as a Neuroscience Nurse at Northside Hospital-Atlanta.

The groom-elect  is the grandson of the late James and Modene Hale of McMinnville, Tenn., and Kathryn Boyd and the late Ramsey Boyd of McMinnville, Tenn.  The groom-elect is a 2010 Lowndes High graduate and 2014 graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is employed as a Process Engineer at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies in St. Augustine, Fla.
