Jasper girl selected to compete in Miss Florida Princess Pageant

Daliyah La’Sha Hunter of Jasper, who will turn four years old in September, will be competing in the Miss Florida Princess Pageant on July 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront in Jacksonville.

Daliyah recently won the title of Tiny Miss Wild Blackberry. She will be starting pre-K in the fall at Suwannee Valley 4Cs. She is the daughter of Sheremah De’Jesus and (stepfather) Jacaris Stubbs. Her favorite color is yellow and her favorite food is tacos. She has a little brother, who is one year old.

Daliyah loves to draw and is learning how to ride her bike. She helps her Nana around the house and is teaching her little brother letters and numbers. She also likes to make up new songs and likes to dance.

Daliyah’s sponsors include Gold Coast Auto Detail, Sunsations, Napa Auto Parts, Joe’s Garage and the citizens of Jasper.

The winner of the Miss Florida Princess Pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, an official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California. Good luck, Daliyah!
