November 23, 1940 – July 12, 2015
Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Jasper, Florida. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery, Jasper, Florida.
Eric A. Brown & Son Funeral Home, was in charge of the local arrangements.

C.A. Wheeler
Aug. 29, 1933 – July 19, 2015
C.A. Wheeler, age 81, of White Springs, FL. passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at his home following an illness of some time. C.A. was a native of Hamilton County, FL. born August 29, 1933 to the late Marvin Jessie Wheeler and Della Spradley Wheeler. C.A was a former Sergeant with the Lake City Police Department before transferring to Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office where he served as Chief Deputy for many years. Following retirement from law enforcement he went to work at Occidental/PCS in a second career of more than twenty years. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jasper.
C.A. was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Irene Wheeler and two grandsons, Aaron and Bryan Wheeler.
Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Mary Harris Wheeler, White Springs, FL.; three sons, Russell Wheeler (Martha), Cory Wheeler (Barbara) and Rex Wheeler (Melinda), all of Zephyrhills, FL.; two daughters, Vicky Harris (Les) and Alicia Deas (Gary), all of Jasper, FL.; his step children, Mary Ann Townsend and Brian Townsend (Gina), of White Springs, FL.; six sisters, Thelma Chauncey, Zephyrhills, FL., Dorothy Johnson, Gainesville, FL., June Walker, Betty Ann Stump and Alice Anderson, all of Lake City, FL., and Charlotte Collins, Ft. White, FL.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Jasper. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.

Vicki Alderman Elmore
October 7, 1949 – July 14, 2015
Vicki Alderman Elmore, age 65, of White Springs, FL. passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Shands U.F. in Gainesville following a lengthy illness. Vicki was a native of Madison County, FL. born October 7, 1949 to V.T. and Thetus Bell Alderman. Life was difficult at times and sometimes she had to work extra hard to get through those tough times but she managed to earn the love and trust of three strong sons that remember her for being strong, verbal when she needed to be, but most of all they recall her always providing everything they needed. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, V.T. Alderman in May of 2008.
Survivors include her three sons, Alan Odom (Deborah), Wellborn, FL., Johnny Odom, White Springs, FL. and Richard Elmore, Lake City, FL.; her mother, Thetus Alderman of Madison, FL.; one brother, Larry Alderman (Cheryl), Madison, FL.; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Per her wishes, Vicki was cremated. Harry T. Reid Funeral Home was in charge of immediate arrangements.
Memorial services were held at the home of her son Alan on Friday, July 17, 2015 in Wellborn, FL. with Rev. Randy Ogburn and Rev. Sammy Hiers officiating.
