VALDOSTA— Mr. and Mrs. Mark Alan Karras of Valdosta announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Catherine Karras of Valdosta, to Jonathan Nichols Miller of Valdosta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dutton Maxwell Miller, Sr. of Valdosta.
The wedding is planned for 4:30 p.m. Nov. 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Valdosta, Ga., with the reception to follow at The Crescent in Valdosta, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Bobby Clifford McCorvey and the late Mrs. Myrtice Kirkland McCorvey, and Mr. and Mrs. James Karras and the late Mrs. Margaret McMillan Karras, all of Nashville, Ga.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Valwood School in Valdosta. She graduated from Auburn University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and in 2013 she graduated from Valdosta State University with a Master of Social Work. She is employed as Homeless Case Manager for Valdosta City Schools.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Nichols Spring Jr. of Atlanta, and Mrs. Maxwell Williams Miller and the late Mr. Willis Linton Miller and Mrs. Margaret Dutton Miller of Valdosta.
The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Valwood School in Valdosta. He graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. He finished his academic pursuits at Mercer University in 2011 with a Master of Business Administration. He is employed at Miller Hardware in Valdosta.
Following the wedding, the couple will make their home in Valdosta.
