A Suwannee County man was arrested last week on one count of distribution of child pornography and 11 counts of possession of child pornography, according to Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) records. The man, 34-year-old John Paul Holt of 21283 33rd Rd., Lake City, was booked into the Suwannee County Jail on Thursday, July 30.

“On July 30, Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crime agents, with assistance from the SCSO, executed a search warrant at a residence in Lake City,” stated FDLE Communications Coordinator Molly Best. “During the search of the residence, several image files of child pornography were discovered.”

The investigation was generated from several cyber tips received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Best stated.
