HAHIRA — Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Tod Butenschon of Hahira, Ga., are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter Taylor Brooke Butenschon to Mr. Joseph Brent Strickland,  son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Frank Strickland, Jr. of Lakeland, Ga.  

The bride-to-be graduated from Lowndes High School in 2009.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, from Valdosta State University in 2013.  She is a student at the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens. Her grandparents are Frank and Susan Butenshcon, of Lake Park; and Iva Lee Morgan and the late Kenneth Morgan of Anniston, Ala.  

The groom-to-be graduated from Lowndes High School in 2009.  He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville in 2014.  He is employed with Emory Healthcare in Atlanta as a registered nurse in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Emory University Hospital Midtown. His grandparents are William Earl Boyett and the late Rhea Jones Boyett, and the late B. Frank and Christine Young Strickland, all of Lakeland, Ga. 

The wedding is planned for Saturday,  Dec. 19, 2015 at Gin Creek in Moultrie.  Formal invitations will be mailed.
