VALDOSTA — Ms. Susan Gannaway Downing of Valdosta and Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Downing of Hahira announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli Lyn Downing of Valdosta, to Cameron Charles Prevost, of Valdosta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Richard Prevost of Valdosta. 

The wedding is planned for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 5, 2015 at The Lodge in Barney, Ga., with the reception to follow. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Earl Gannaway of Valdosta and the late Mr. and Mrs. June Edward Downing of Hahira. 

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Lowndes High School in Valdosta. She graduated from Valdosta State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and Technology. She is employed by Saft America, Inc. as the Marketing Support Administrator. 

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard George Prevost of Port Huron, Mich., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bernice Turner of Baxley, Ga. 

The groom-elect is a graduate of Valdosta High School in Valdosta. He attended Georgia Military College in Valdosta. He is employed by McKee Corporation, as an Independent Distributor for Little Debbie. 

Following the wedding, the couple will make their home in Valdosta.
