HAHIRA— Doug and Teresa Bullard of Hahira announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Bullard of Hahira, to Kevin McDowell of Lake Park, son of Mike and Sherry McDowell of Lake Park. 

The wedding is scheduled for 5 p.m.  Nov. 14, 2015 at Gin Creek Plantation, in Hartsfield, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gene and Vivian Molisee and William and Waunell Bullard. 

The bride-elect received a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is employed by Lowndes County Board of Education as a Pre-K Teacher at Westside Elementary School. 

The future groom is the grandson of Ronald and Jean Bennett, Barbara McDowell, and the late Melvin McDowell.

The future groom is a graduate from Lowndes High School and a graduate from Okefenokee Tech Electrical Lineman School. He is employed by Georgia Power Company as an Apprentice Lineman.
