Riders with Caring Hearts 4th Christmas Toy Run Nov. 14

On Saturday, Nov. 14, Riders with Caring Hearts will host their 4th Annual Christmas Toy Run to benefit Guardian ad Litem, Circuit 3 (includes: Columbia, Suwannee, Hamilton, Dixie, Taylor, Lafayette and Madison counties) and Voices for Children of Suwannee Valley.

Every child represented by Guardian ad Litem and Voices for Children are victims of abuse, be it neglect, physical, sexual or other forms and these are the folks that are the Voices for the Children in the system.

Registration for this year’s ride will begin at UA Cinema 90 in Lake City from 9 a.m. on Nov. 14 until kickstands up at 11:30 a.m. for a police escorted country ride stretching approximately 45 miles through the country and ending at American Legion Post 57 in Lake City for the after party.

The award winning team of Suwannee River Smokers will be preparing the meats and all sides are provided by American Legion Post 57 in conjunction with the Ole Times Country Buffett.  Entertainment will be provided by the band Cruise Control, guaranteed to rock it out, during the after party, we will have raffles, auctions, 50/50 drawing, the famous “Family Friendly Wet T-Shirt Contest” and more.

The after party will be held in American Legion Post 57’s newly renovated, “non-smoking” bingo hall and will have a full bar available.

Cost for the ride is $10 per rider/$5 per passenger plus a new unwrapped toy and includes lunch with the after party.

For those who do not ride, the after party is open open to the public, cost at the door is $10 per person and includes the meal along with the party with all proceeds going to benefit Guardian ad Litem Circuit 3 and Voices for Children. The doors open for the after party at 12:30 p.m. and the party goes until 4 p.m.
