Martha Ann Land

March 26, 1953 – Nov. 5, 2015

Martha Ann Land, 62, of Mayo, Fla., passed away Nov. 5, 2015 after a short illness. Ann was born March 26, 1953 in Live Oak, Fla., to Herman E. Hewitt and Demetria M. Hewitt (Shaw).  

Ann was of the Church of God Faith and enjoyed working with plants and flowers. She was preceded in death by a brother Louis Hewitt, and one sister Debra Anita Hawkins.

Ann is survived by her husband of 46 years Donnie Land, Mayo, Fla.; sons Duane Land and Darren Land, one daughter Deanna Land; three grandchildren: Reese Land, Czarina Land and Andrew Vega; one sister Angela Lady, her parents Herman E. Hewitt and Demetria M. Hewitt, and two special nieces Olivia and Autumn Hawkins.

Funeral services were held at Alton Church of God Family Life Center on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Mayo with Pastor Tim Hamm officiating. Interment followed in Airline Baptist Church Cemetery in Mayo. The family received friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 at Alton Church of God. Memorial contributions can be made to.
