REMERTON — A 22-year-old Texas native is coming to town, bringing with her a unique twist on country.

Julia Cole got her start performing the National Anthem at sporting events for her alma mater Klein High School in Klein, Texas. It was a jumping off point for her career and she soon found herself performing for national events and sporting events that passed through Houston.

Recently signed with CAA, Holler! Music Publishing, Martingale Entertainment Management and BMI, Cole is making her way across the nation with her mix of country, hip-hop and electronic sound.

Tonight she will perform at 9 p.m. at Bluewater Bar and Grill, located at 1905 Baytree Place.
