BLACKSHEAR, Ga. — Bruce and Cindy Callahan, of Blackshear, Ga., announce the  engagement of  their daughter, Courtney Callahan of Valdosta, to  William Paulo, of Valdosta, son of  Duke and Teresa Paulo, of Valdosta. 

The wedding will be held  at 4 p.m.  Feb. 6, 2016 at Park Avenue Methodist Church, Valdosta. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Steve Jeffords Sr., of Blackshear, and the late Linda Jeffords; Jeannine and James Callahan of Statesboro; the late Emily and H.P. Weldon of Savannah. 

The bride-elect is a graduate of Pierce County High School and a graduate from Valdosta State University. She is employed by Sublime Salon. 

The groom-elect is the grandson Sylvia Starling of Valdosta and the late William L. Starling; Frank and Rose Paulo of Las Vegas, Nev., and the late Noelle Sauls of Valdosta. 

The future groom  is a graduate from Lowndes High School and attended Georgia Military College. He is  employed by Ace Technology.
