SRWMD to host stakeholder meeting for Upper and Middle Suwannee River minimum flows and levels

The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) invites businesses, residents and recreational users of the Upper and Middle Suwannee River to participate in a public meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to give an overview of the MFL development process for the Upper and Middle Suwannee River and obtain public input. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. at the District Headquarters, 9225 County Road 49, Live Oak, FL 32060.
The District’s Minimum Flows and Levels (MFLs) program is a means to ensure water availability for the present and future, and to prevent significant harm to the area’s natural resources.
