Frances Demps, age 72, of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Shands Lake Shore Hospital, Lake City, Fla. She was the daughter of the late Robert Webb and Louanna Washington Webb.

Frances became a member of Hopewell Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully as long as she was able. She was loved by many neighbors and friends.

Frances leaves, to cherish her memory, her children Richard Webb, Patricia Corker, Anthony Webb and Katrina Demps; one son-in-law Joe Corker; one brother Luke Webb, all of Live Oak, one uncle Issac (Andrea) Washington, Miami, Fla.; one aunt Elizabeth McBride, Live Oak; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends.

The family will meet and greet friends Friday, Jan. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, 11 a.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church in the Fort Union Settlement; with Pastor Al Gandy officiating.

Bennie Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Toni Morrison, 57, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016.  She loved animals and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Morrison is survived by her husband: Jack Morrison, Live Oak, Fla.; sister: Sue Paitson, four brothers: Bob Shaffer, Jeff Shaffer, Phil Shaffer and Patrick Shaffer. She is preceded in death by her two brothers: John Shaffer and Jerry Shaffer.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9th at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in church cemetery. There will be a visitation held prior to service at 10 a.m. at the church.
