As a military retiree (Vietnam vet) whose total retirement and Social Security totals less than $30,000 annually, it is good to know that elected officials and hordes of directors, managers along with their assistants and staffs continue to fatten at the public/government trough.

Suwannee County must be a really safe place when a deputy has time to mow and weed the Luraville Ag. Inspection Station which happens to be state property.

I am a life time resident of Suwannee County and I have a great concern for the children in the

county and I was behind a school bus on Houston Street this past Monday afternoon and the bus driver put out his stop sign way in advance to oncoming traffic and 2 vehicles never stopped for the bus and kids were beginning to get off bus. People of thiscounty you wonder why so many kids die and you show no respect for laws here. This bus driver was not at fault.
