Combs brings country to Bluewater

REMERTON — Asheville native Luke Combs will bring his sound to the Bluewater stage Saturday.

Combs has been performing since childhood and began writing songs and playing shows as a student at Appalachian State University, according to his website, www.lukecombs.com. After gaining a bit of fame, Combs made the move to Nashville, Tenn.

In a 2015 article from Country Music North, Combs was referred to as “one of the most promising young talents in country.”

His single, “Hurricane,” landed on iTunes Top 10 Country Chart and his Spotify profile boasts 44,161 monthly listeners.

Currently, Combs has three EPs out, two released in 2014 and his latest, “This One’s For You,” came out in 2015. All are available for purchase on iTunes.

His current tour is taking him across the South and will land the artist at Bluewater Bar Saturday. Bluewater Bar is located at 1905 Baytree Road.
