VALDOSTA— Mr. and Mrs. David Mauldin of Valdosta, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie  Christine Mauldin, of Lexington, Va., to  Tullis Dalton Beasley, of Lexington, Va., son of  Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Beasley of Valdosta. 

The wedding  will be held at 5:30 p.m. May 14, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Valdosta. 

The bride-elect  is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Alva Giles of Ft. Valley, Ga., and the late Mrs. Sylvia Faye Rainey of Sycamore, Ga. 

The future bride is a 2010 graduate of Lowndes High School and a 2014 graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She is employed by Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. 

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Tullis Beasley of Valdosta, and Mrs. Annie Ruth Hobbs and the late Mr. France Rolland Hobbs of Quitman. 

The future groom is a 2009 graduate of Valdosta High School and a 2013 graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  He is employed by Kappa Alpha Order’s National Administrative Office in Lexington, Va.
