VALDOSTA — Little Actors Theatre is ready to pull a cat out of a hat this weekend.

And ready to present plenty of other Dr. Seuss characters, too.

LAT presents three performances of “Seussical Jr.” 

“Seussical Jr.” brings Dr. Seuss’ literary characters and stories to life. It primarily focuses on the Cat in the Hat and Horton the elephant, combining elements of both characters’ stories along with other Seuss stories — all backed by songs.

Yes, “Seussical” is a musical.

The “Jr.” designation in the title means the script has been abridged and adapted for younger performers.

Little Actors Theatre presents theatre by youngsters for youngsters. The entire cast is comprised of children and youths.

LAT Director Diane Tovar said “Seussical” features 17 young performers, some playing multiple characters.
