NFCC hosts FREE Health Education Expo TODAY in Live Oak

Public invited to expo at Festival Park featuring free screenings and health education information
The North Florida Community College Nursing and Allied Health Department invites the community to a Health Education Expo on Friday, March 4 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Live Oak’s Festival Park. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Free blood pressure, bone density, blood sugar and body max index (BMI) screenings will be provided during the expo. Participants can also receive free educational information on diabetes prevention, skin cancer protection, stress management, hypertension, fitness, healthy lifestyle habits, stroke prevention, disaster awareness, hospice, tobacco cessation and children’s health resources.
Area organizations and healthcare facilities participating in the Health Education Expo are NFCC, Vivid Visions, Suwannee County Health Department, UF/IFAS, Healthy Families Seven Rivers, Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center, Madison County Memorial Hospital, Another Way, Life South, Advent Christian Village, Suwannee River Area Health Education Center (SRAHEC), Palms Medical, North Florida Pediatrics and the Pregnancy Center.
