Iris Pennington Bundy, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Mar. 7, 2016 at the Health Center of Lake City. She was born in Jacksonville, Fla. to Edis and Nettie [Leigh] Pennington and has lived in Lake City since 1955. Iris was a graduate of Columbia High School (Class of 1962), was a volunteer at Fort White High School, and an active FFA Parent Alumni. She retired from the V.A. Medical Center after 32 years as a Security Secretary. She was a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church and Church Secretary for 20+ years. Mrs. Iris was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her faith and to the care of her family and friends.

Survivors include her wonderful husband of 49 years, Harold E. Bundy Sr.; son Harold E. (Stephanie) Bundy Jr.; daughter, LeaAnne Bundy; brother, Homer (Linda) Pennington; grandchildren, Caleb & Shelby Bundy and Alex Green all of Lake City, Fla.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday , Mar. 10, 2016, at Eastside Baptist Church with Reverend Hugh Dampier, Dr. Wade Howell and Reverend Brandon Witt officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Nature Coast, 857 SW Main Blvd. Suite 125, Lake City, Fla. 32025.

Richard B. Claridy Sr, a resident of Jasper, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Mar. 6, 2016.

Mr. Richard B. Claridy Sr. leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Estelle Claridy; seven children: R. Bernard Claridy Jr. (Sharon), Patrick Claridy (Carolyn), Leandrew Claridy, Michael Claridy, Wesley Claridy, Syreta Claridy and Shanara Claridy. Four brothers, one sister, and many close relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Richard B. Claridy Sr. will be Saturday, Mar. 12 at 11 a.m. located at Jesus The Living Word of Deliverance Church in Jasper, Fla. In addition, the viewing for family and friends will be Mar. 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant AME Church in Jasper, Fla. Immediately following the funeral service, the burial will be held in Marion Station Cemetery.
