ROSWELL, Ga. — Mr. and Mrs. David Williams of Roswell, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Marnie Elizabeth Williams, of Roswell, to  Travis Whaley Harris, of Atlanta, son of Mr. James Arthur and Mrs. Lisa Holland Harris of Valdosta. 

The wedding is scheduled at 6 p.m. May 29, 2016 at Naylor Hall, Roswell, Ga. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evy Lee Williams of Lancaster, S.C. and Mr. and Mrs. L. Gerald Marnie of Vero Beach, Fla.

The future bride graduated from Centennial High School in Roswell, Ga. in 2010. She has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is employed at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Mentor Coordinator for the Excel Program, a college certificate program for students with intellectual disabilities.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. William Jennings Holland and the late Mrs. Mary Jean Whaley Holland of Valdosta; Rev. Arthur Oliver Harris, Jr. and Carol Barnette Harris of Hahira, Ga.

The future groom graduated from Valdosta High School in 2010. He has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is employed at Kimley – Horn & Associates in Atlanta, Ga.
