VALDOSTA — Mr. and Mrs. Gary Childree of Valdosta announce the engagement of their daughter, Ansley Childree of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to Kaleb Heninger of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, son of  Mr. and Mrs. Sikes McCord, and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Heninger, all of Fitzgerald, Ga. 

The wedding  will be held  at 5 p.m. Sept. 24, 2016 at High Grove Farms, Valdosta, Ga. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pat Riggens.

The future bride is a 2007 graduate of Valdosta High School; 2012 graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology; and a 2016 graduate at Brenau University with a Masters Degree in Project Management. She is employed by Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a Special Events Coordinator- Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). 

The groom-elect is the grandson of  Mrs. Betty Redus and Mrs. Gene Heninger. 

The future groom is  a 2007 graduate of  Fitzgerald High School; and 2013 graduate of Valdosta State University  with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology. He is employed by Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a Fitness Coordinator with Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR).
