HAHIRA — Ann McDonald Exum of Hahira announces the engagement of her daughter, Allison Blair  Exum of Hahira, to Cade Ryan Fowler of Albany, Ga., son of Revere and Joy Fowler of Jasper, Ga.

The wedding will be in September in Central Park in New York City, N.Y. A local reception will be held to honor the couple.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of  Barbara Jean McDonald and the late Edgar Brewer McDonald of Hahira, Ga.

The future bride is a 2008 graduate  from Lowndes High School. She attended Valdosta State University and will graduate from Georgia Military College with a  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in August 2016. She is employed by Georgia Power Company.

The groom-elect is the grandson of  Janie Buchanan Carver and the late Roy Weldon Carver of Jasper, Ga.; and the late Raymond and Christine Bozeman Fowler.

The future groom is  a 2002 graduate from Pickens High School; and  a 2007 graduate from Reinhardt University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. He is a morning news anchor for Today in Georgia at WALB-TV Albany.
