LIVE OAK — Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative is working on restoring power after wide-spread outages Friday morning due to Hurricane Hermine.

SVEC doesn’t yet know how long it will take to restore power to all cooperative members. Line repairs are prioritized by which ones will get the most members back in service in the shortest amount of time.

In a press release, SVEC advises anyone who relies on life-supporting medical equipment to go to a location with power until power is restored to their residence.
