SHS boys cross country wins Cedar Key Invitational

- The SHS girls team finished second at the Cedar Key Invitational.
CEDAR KEY — The Suwannee High boys cross country team defeated runners from Trenton, Cedar Key, Chiefland, St. Johns and First Christian to win the Cedar Key Invitational on Thursday.
The top runners for the Suwannee boys were:

Micah Hilliard first, Tim Choe second, Ricardo Cruz third, Jose Ñonthe ninth and Brendan Richard 10th.
The Suwannee High girls cross country team defeated runners from Trenton, Branford, St. Johns, First Christian, and Cedar Key, but came in second place to Chiefland. The top runners for the Suwannee girls were:
Alexis Thompson fourth, Natalie Lord fifth and Kelsey Middleton eighth.
The team will compete for the district championship tomorrow in Wakulla.
