JASPER — Two events are scheduled in Hamilton County to honor veterans on Veterans Day. 

Hamilton County will hold their Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park, located on U.S. Hwy 41, in front of the Courthouse Annex.

The guest speaker will be Colonel Stephen O’Rear. He is retired from the United States Air Force. He is currently serving as the senior aerospace science instructor for Hamilton County High School.

The town of White Springs will hold their Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Community Center. There will be a short program followed by a lunch for the veterans and their family. 

The center is located at 12760 Roberts Street in White Springs.
