District Teacher and Employee of the Year announced

The Hamilton County School District has announced the 2018 Teacher of the Year is Chris Combass and 2017 School Related Employee of the Year is Deborah Horne.

Combass is a Teacher Support Colleague at Hamilton County High School. He will travel to Orlando in July 2017, to represent Hamilton County at the Florida Department of Education Teacher of the Year Roundtable event.  

Horne is a Parent Resource Specialist at North Hamilton Elementary School.  

“We are excited about the announcement of Teacher of the Year Chris Combass and School Related Employee of the Year Deborah Horne,” Superintendent Rex Mitchell said. “These are two outstanding employees who are dedicated to our students and the district and represent the quality of employees of the district.”
