SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK & CAMPGROUND, LIVE OAK, FLA. – It will soon be time for the 2017 Suwannee River Jam (SRJ) at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida! The first SRJ Audition for 2017 is set for Jan. 7 in the Music Hall where country solo singers, duets and bands have the chance to audition for a spot in the artist lineup at the upcoming SRJ!

The weekend will kick off in style with Juke Box Oldies Band Friday, Jan. 6, in the Music Hall. If you love oldies music from 50s – 80s with great guitar players, rock solid rhythm section, energetic keyboards and great singing, it’s your time to come out! Enjoy dancing all those great dances developed during that time! The Jukebox Oldies is an accomplished oldies band whose members have brought back great memories and dancing for many years with their unmatched music. Don’t dance? No problem! Come have dinner with us, try our sensational new Southern Soul Barbecue menu, bring your friends, listen and enjoy! Don’t forget those dancing shoes! Doors open at 5 p.m., music from 8 p.m. – midnight!

Saturday, Jan. 7, it’s the first Suwannee River Jam Audition of 2017. Two were held in the fall, but this Saturday, our first 2017 audition is in the Music Hall. Country solo singers, duets and bands will audition for the chance to move to the finals where finalist to perform at the Jam will be chosen. If you have a favorite North Florida/South Georgia singer, duet or band, come out and see who will be auditioning! It’s always a terrific evening! Free admission! Doors open at 5 p.m., auditions begin at 7 p.m.
