Ted “TeddyMac Elvis” McMullen will present his 12th annual Elvis Tribute Artist Competition on Jan. 26-28 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. This show, which features some of the very best Elvis Tribute Artists available, is always a sell-out show with Elvis lovers from all over attending. McMullen is one of America’s premier Elvis Tribute Artists and hosts karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7–10 p.m. at the Music Hall. Reserve tickets for Saturday’s finale are now available at the park’s main office or by calling 386-364-1683. Please do not delay as reserve tickets usually go quickly.

Contestants may still enter this prestigious event where the first-place winner receives $1,500; second place $700; third place $300; fourth place $200 and fifth place $100. Go to www.teddymacelvis.com/live-events.php for info and sign up by Jan. 15 in order to get into the program book. Either register online or download the entry form and mail it in along with your check or money order, photo and bio. Winner goes to the world championships in Memphis in August.
On Jan. 26, McMullen will host his regular Thursday karaoke in the Music Hall where you never know who will show up to perform. It’s a great time for music and dancing. Bring your own CDs or check with McMullen upon arrival to see if he’s got the music needed. There is no admission charge and doors open at 5 p.m., with karaoke from 7–10 p.m.
On Jan. 27, it’s party time. Elvis contestants will perform for the audience in a casual atmosphere with lots of great fun and Elvis music. Admission is $10 per person/child at the door, all food and drinks are extra. Doors open at 5 p.m., party from 7–10 p.m.
On Jan. 28, the Elvis Competition begins at 1 p.m. with sound check for contestants at 11 a.m. A break in the competition will take place in the late afternoon for dinner with the contest resuming from 6 p.m. until a winner is chosen. General admission for adults/children is $25 at the door, reserved seating $40 for adults/children in advance at 386-364-1683 or stop by the park’s main office. All food and drinks are extra.
