VALDOSTA — Lowndes Associated Ministries to People re-scheduled its Clergy Chat and Chew Session for 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Jan. 30.
The lunch-and-learn event is free and will be held at 714 Charlton St., according to a press release. A free light lunch will be included.
The session is the first of a planned series to provide a tour of the facilities and the organization’s role in providing services for local homeless families with children, single men and single women.
LAMP is a nonprofit 501 C 3 organization that provides “a hand up, not a hand out” to homeless people.
The lunch-and-learn is open to pastors, clergy and church leaders in LAMP’s nine-county coverage area. The counties are Brooks, Berrien, Cook, Lowndes, Lanier, Echols, Turner, Tift, and Thomas.
To reserve a seat and meal at the event contact LAMP’s Development Director Sharah Denton at sdenton@lampinc.org or call (229) 245-7157 ext. 289.
