St. Patty’s Day Party with Dead 27s, 10 p.m. March 17, Ashley Street Station, 607 Baytree Road. 

St. Patrick’s Day Fest, Lucky’s, 1903 Baytree Place, Outside gates open at 3 p.m.; Music starts at 4 p.m. Bands performing include JJ Lawhorn, Unbreakable Bloodline, Lazy Lightning, Yamadeo, Egg Water Palace and more.

Boggs Music Hall: 104 W. Lawson St., Hahira, showtime 6:30-8 p.m. Rugh and Karen Boggs perform classic country, western and gospel music. Admission: Free.

Brooks County Jamboree: Culpepper Street, Quitman. Billy Ingram & The Waysiders, a Brooks County band, present a night of classic country, country rock and line-dancing.

SATURDAY

Annual “Old Time Day,” 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. March 18, Dasher Museum & Dasher Historical Society, 3479 Old Hwy. 41 S. Activities include: butter making, weaving & spinning, corn shelling, grinding corn into grits, wood cutting. There will also be classic cars and vintage campers available for inspection and enjoyment. There will be drinks, hot dogs, chips and cookies available for sale. Community Single Parent Fun Day, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. March 18 Scott Park, 900 Old Statenville Rd. Hosted by Word of Oasis Ministries International Inc. and Positive Single Parent Outreach. There will be food, games, bounce houses, face painting, prizes and more.

Heart of God Ministries 3rd Annual Youth Restoration, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. April 8, Saunders’s Park, 1151 River St. There will be ministering, free food, free bibles, bounce house, and the ability to sign up for G.E.D classes through Paxen Learning. This event is a free event open to the community and surrounding areas to give our youth the opportunity to experience God on a level that they can relate.

East Brooks Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors quarterly meeting, 7 p.m. April 17, fire station on Cates Rd., Quitman. The remainder 2017 Board of Directors meetings will be held at 7 p.m. July 17 and Oct. 16.

Lighthouse Kids Consignment Spring and Summer Sale, 3-7 p.m. April 20: 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. April 21, Lighthouse Christian School and Daycare, 4565 Bemiss Rd. Proceeds benefit families of Lowndes County and Valdosta.
