VALDOSTA – J.L. Lomax Elementary School is selling tickets for “Jump Start J.L. Lomax” which will award one lucky winner with a 2017 Ford Fiesta.

The school worked with many generous Community Partners in Education to put together the fundraiser to help “jump start” its goal of becoming a one-to-one school, according to a school press release. Students would have access to an electronic device issued solely for their use.

The school will announce the winner of the 2017 Ford Fiesta during the annual field day scheduled for May 12. 

All tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from any J.L. Lomax staff member. The winner must be 18 years or older and does not have to be present to win. The school has set a goal of selling 5,000 tickets.
