I don’t think it is a good idea for students on the Valdosta State University campus to carry guns. It will only bring on violence because someone will get hurt by not practicing safety. 

I have a granddaughter out there and I surely don’t want her carrying a gun. That’s what the police are for. They know how to use a gun. Most kids in college drink strong drinks. I do not support this bill and call on Gov. Deal to oppose HB 280 to keep guns off our college campus.
