Cheek & Scott Drugs held a ribbon cutting on new location in Jasper.

JASPER — Cheek & Scott Drugs held a ribbon cutting for their new location in Jasper on April 6.

Cheek & Scott was formed in Live Oak in 1965 and has since opened a location in Lake City. Cheek & Scott provides pharmaceuticals, professional counseling, natural pharmacy, medical equipment, oxygen, respiratory care and other health care needs.

“We have had a tremendous reception from the community,” said Jeff Scott, president and owner of Cheek & Scott. “We feel very blessed.”

Scott added they look forward to helping take care of the community.

An open house will be held Tuesday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“It has been overwhelming to see the reception that we have had from the community,” said Matt Steen, Pharmacy Manager. “We are going to take care of the people in a small, hometown fashion.”

Cheek & Scott Drugs is located at 1150 U.S. Highway 41, Suite 13, Jasper. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
