HAHIRA — William “Bo” and Denise Tucker of Hahira announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Tucker of Hahira, to Garrett Faucette of Valdosta, son of Terry and Cindy Faucette of Valdosta.

The wedding will be held 4 p.m. June 10, 2017 at Hahira First Baptist in Hahira. The reception will be held at The Patterson in Valdosta.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Billie Tucker and the late William “Bill” Tucker of Tifton; Dorothy Reddick and the late Charles Reddick of Adel.

The future bride is a 2013 Honor Graduate of Lowndes High School; 2017 graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Summa Cum Laude. She is pursuing a teaching position in the Athens, Ga. area.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Buddy and JoAnn Brooks of Valdosta and the late Charles and Louise Faucette of Quitman.

The future groom is a 2012 Honor Graduate of Brooks County High School; 2016 graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree. He will also be attending the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in August 2017. He is employed as a Pharmacy Technician with Public Supermarkets, Inc.
