VALDOSTA – David Minshew and Mel Willsie of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Valdosta chapter recently attended the Georgia Federation Convention in Warner Robins and attended workshops and training concerning the mission of NARFE.  

NARFE is the only organization dedicated to enhancing and protecting the pay and benefits of federal employees, retirees and their survivors, according to an organizational press release. 

Membership is open to current or retired federal employees, spouses and survivors. The chapter holds its monthly meeting at Chowtown Restaurant on Baytree Road at 12:30 p.m. every second Thursday of the month. For more information, call (229) 563-8074.
