TenBroeck finishes record-breaking softball career at Stetson

LIVE OAK, Fla. — Live Oak’s Jessie TenBroeck, a 2013 Suwannee High graduate, recently completed her four-year softball career at Stetson University, leaving her mark in the SU and Atlantic Sun Conference record books.

She finished as the Hatters’ all-time leader in runs scored and stolen bases, and ranks third all-time in SU history with 214 hits.

In 203 games, TenBroeck scored 157 runs and stole 142 bases. Her 142 stolen bases is also an ASUN all-time record.

TenBroeck was the Hatters’ leadoff hitter all four years. She helped lead Stetson to the 2014 Atlantic Sun championship her freshman year. She was named to the ASUN all-freshman team and all-tournament teams in 2014 and 2015.

She earned first-team ASUN all-conference honors as both a junior and senior. In her junior season, TenBroeck finished 15th in the NCAA as the toughest to strikeout.

Prior to her senior year, TenBroeck was voted the ASUN preseason Defensive Player of the Year. She finished the season third in the NCAA with 48 stolen bases in her final season, and ranked in the top 30 of the NCAA in stolen bases all four years.
