The age range of the children auditioning was 6-16. Twenty-one were cast for the musical.

TIFTON — Auditions for the Tifton Theatre’s summer camp and musical drew local children of all ages Monday, June 26.

According to Carlie Johnson with the Tifton Theatre, 21 kids were cast in the upcoming musical, Seussical Jr.

The ages range from six through age 16.

The musical will feature characters from Dr. Seuss’s books such as the Cat in the Hat and Horton the Elephant from “Horton Hears a Who.”

Rehearsals begin July 5 and the musical will run July 27-29 at 7 p.m. and July 30 at 3 p.m.
