TIFTON — A 67-year-old Florida woman drove her vehicle into Adcock Pecans, located at 807 West 7th Street, at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21.

According to the accident report obtained from the Tifton Police Department, the driver was attempting to park in front of the store and stated that she could not take her foot off the gas.

The vehicle, which the report lists as a 2015 Kia, went through one of the front windows and caused “extensive damage.”

A report from the Tifton Fire Department, who also responded to the accident, said that the driver was treated by EMS and the police report said she was admitted to the hospital for her injuries.
