Christopher Andersen certainly gets one thing right about the subtitle of his book, “Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger.”

The Rolling Stone frontman certainly has led a wild life, according to Andersen’s account.

The author chronicles tales of sex, drugs and rock & roll. Though the emphasis is far more about sex and drugs, and then even more of an emphasis on Jagger’s reported sex life, than it is on rock & roll.

Sort of like the subtitle, there’s a lot on “The Wild Life” but seemingly little about the “Mad Genius.”

Mick Jagger and Rolling Stones fans looking for insights into the band’s hits from the past 50 years will likely be disappointed.

People who want to know factoids such as Jagger reportedly created his stage presence and moves as an impersonation of Marilyn Monroe, about his relationship with David Bowie and his encounters with an estimated 4,000 women, according to the book, will likely enjoy “Mick.”
