HAHIRA — Twelve-year-old race car driver, Ryan Rackley, a seventh-grader at Valwood School, accepted his Winter Flurry Championship trophy at Atlanta Motor Speedway this past Saturday, becoming one of the youngest champions in the history of U.S. Legends racing.

Current and past NASCAR stars hone their skills in Legends cars before making a jump to full-size stock cars. Rackley, who has been racing at a pro level since he was 8-years-old, made the jump early to Legends cars after a successful career in karting, where he won back-to-back championships.

Rackley will race his Legends car across the country in 2018, as well as begin his transition to full size stock car.
