THOMASVILLE — A Thomasville man is facing drug charges after law enforcement found he was in possession of synthetic marijuana packaged for sale.

Heef Davis, 50, was arrested after narcotics agents received information of synthetic marijuana, also known as “spice,” being sold at a Hadley Street residence, according to Louis Schofill, Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division commander.

“Agents went and made a couple of buys of spice from that residence,” Schofill said.

A search warrant was obtained and drug agents executed the warrant Wednesday morning. They were “able to recover multiple bags of spice in the kitchen and the master bedroom,” Schofill said.

The recovered narcotic netted a street value of a couple hundred dollars, according to the drug squad commander.
